Self Energy Group powers growth in emerging markets
Self Energy Group has designed 50 solar villages in Mozambique, 2 of which are now fully operational. Local growth is powered through increased security of energy supply to education facilities, a health centre and public lighting systems. Over 1,000 people are already directly benefiting from this sharing of resources, knowledge and skills.
The projects have been visited and inspected by policy officials from South Africa and Angola, with Self Energy Group preparing proposals for a sustainable and context-specific replication of the model’s successes.
